Marathon Runner

Yesterday was the big day for Ernie. After waking up at 4:30 am, he went to run his half marathon. It was raining at first but luckily it subsided. Aiden and I went downtown to watch him and cheer him on. There were a lot of people, and I had to basically walk the last mile of the marathon, but we were so excited to see Ernie fulfill his goal and finish. He did a good job, and finished in 2 hours and 15 minutes which put him at a 10 minute mile. Ernie enjoyed it, and is talking about running it next year. He is trying to convince me to run with him, but we will have to see what happens.
