In January, Aiden is going to start going to Ernie's school for a half day of "pre-school" that is run by the child development class. As part of their preschool, they have an activity every month. The activity for this month was a pirate picnic (their theme is pirates). Aiden was excited to go to this picnic and see all the kids. He thinks he is such a legend every time he goes to a school function. Here he is sitting on Ronnie's lap. There are about 13 kids and a million "teachers". So each kid has 6 teachers to themselves. Ronnie is a baseball player and is one of Aiden's teachers. Aiden loves Ronnie and was next to him the whole time.
As we were watching the kids names being called for their group, Caleb found himself a little highschool friend to hang out with.

Brooke is another one of his teachers. Aiden loves her as well. She is a dancer and Ernie coaches boys basketball with her dad.
As part of this picnic, the kids had a "treasure hunt". They ran around getting clues.
Part of the time, we followed Aiden around.
Caleb stole Aidens eye patch and wore it all over.

Aiden finally found his "treasure". It was filled with all sorts of goodies, and toys that the high school kids bought for him. It was so cute!
Aiden really enjoyed this treasure hunt and the interaction with the kids. I am excited for him to go to school with his dad. This will be a fun school year for him!

Thanks for updating your blog. I love seeing pictures of the family and especially the boys. I feel like I don't miss out on all of their growing up and activities.
